Summary

A draft for public comment prepared for the Australian Greenhouse Office by George Wilkenfeld & Associates with Energy Efficient Strategies, August 2001. Outlines the costs and benefits of the new MEPS levels for refrigerators and freezers proposed for introduction in Australia in 2004 (now 2005) - new levels are equivalent to US2001 MEPS levels. RIS is undertaken to satisfy regulatory requirements in all states and territories.
